Went here on a whim when the other two places I had in mind were full, and I'm glad the universe guided me here instead! Partner and I got a couple of sandwiches to go, so we could eat back at our rental for a quiet night in. The ingredients were so simple, yet packed with flavor. We got the roast beef as well as the pastrami, and I loved them both equally. We've a few days still left in Rome but we already want to make sure we return here before going home. Aside from the delicious food, the vibe was cozy, and the staff were warm and inviting!

Their warmth and attention to detail were exceptional—they really went out of their way to make the experience memorable. The truffle cheese with honey was a revelation, paired perfectly with a glass of their outstanding wine. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the people leave such a lasting impression. What a fantastic place for lunch in Trastevere! We loved it so much we went TWICE during our four days in Rome. My wife and I split the medium meat and cheese board both days. We also had excellent wine pairings recommended by the staff. The care and curation that went into the board was the BEST we had experienced in Italy (and maybe ever). Everything was sourced locally or from Italian craft producers. We loved the little details throughout the experience and left very satisfied/full both times. I’d highly recommend a walk over from centro storico or short stroll within Trastevere. Don’t miss this hidden gem, we will be back when we are back in Roma!
